The Doctoral School organises a new edition of the Welcome Session for the academic year 24-25
This new session will be held on the 26th February from 11 to 12 h and will be delivered in hybrid format.

The Doctoral School will welcome new PhD candidates with a new session led by the School director and that will include a presentation of the Code of Good Practice in Research by Dr José Luis Molina, Chairman of the Ethics Committee on Animal and Human Experimentation at the UAB. Afterwards, Dr Jordi Cortadella, expert in algorithms and chairman of the UPC Ethics Committee, will deliver a short conference in English focused on ethics and artificial intelligence. Furthermore, a series of training videos on regulations, administrative procedures, transversal skills, and open science will be available on the Virtual Campus.
First stage researchers in their first year who couldn't attend the welcome session last November are encouraged to attend this session that will also devote some minutes to a question an answer section to solve the queries on the most practical aspects of doctoral studies.
