Registrations now open for a new edition of the programme "How to Validate Your Research"
The UAB Research Park and the Doctoral School are holding a new edition of the programmee "How to Validate Your Research" addressed to UAB first stage researchers as a way to help them in finding practical applications to their research projects. The registration period will be open until 10 April.
The "How to Validate Your Research" programme offers a set of tools and methodologies to help find practical applications to research results and acquire entrepreneurial and innovation skills, while at the same time explaining the key aspects of the technology transfer ecosystem. This programme aims to help participants acquire experiential learning thanks to a joint work carried out by researchers, mentors, businesses, and regional stakeholders.
The first phase of the programme will consist in four training sessions (15, 17, 22 and 24 April) in creativity, impact, knowledge protection and funding, in which research staff will apply a business model to their project.
The second phase will consist in the mentoring phase, in which five projects will be selected from the executive reports handed in in the first phase and assigned an expert mentor to help guide participants in their hypothesis, and give them support so that they can validate their project and provide the best application for the market. This phase will last five weeks, from 29 April until 28 June, and will end with a feasible business proposal.
The selected projects will also be able to prototype their solutions from 10 to 28 June.
Finally, on 10 July the final presentation of the projects will take place, with a display of all proposals and prototypes.
To participate in the programme, please sign up before 10 April.
