The Doctoral School celebrates the International Day of Women and Girls in Science
The Doctoral School celebrates the International Day of Women and Girls in Science with a colloquium to make women visible and reflect on their presence and role within the scientific community.
On the 15th of February, the Doctoral School is organising a colloquium where first stage researchers and doctoral supervisors will discuss about the presence and role of women in academic fields. Doctoral students Iris Parra, from the PhD programme in Philosophy, and Cristina Madrid, from the PhD programme in Cell Biology will participate in the discussion. The session will be conducted by Inma Ponte, director of the Doctoral School.
The activity will take place at 1 pm at room Carles Perelló (Doctoral School) and is open to anybody interested in this topic.
This activity seeks to increase visibility of women in science, as well as to promote gender equality.
