UAB representative awarded the Joan Oró mention in the competition "Present Your Thesis in 4 Minutes" by the FCRI
Camille Noé Servin, student of the PhD programme in Psychiatry, was awarded the Joan Oró mention in the "Present Your Thesis in 4 Minutes" competition organised by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation, worth 1,000 euros, on 22 June at the CaixaFòrum in Lleida.
The winner is working on her thesis on how the brains of pregnant mothers change. She won first prize in the "Thesis in 4 Minutes" competition held at the UAB on 17 May and, in accordance with the competition rules, acted as the UAB representative in the final competition organised by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation, which this year was held in Lleida.
The competition was attended by all Catalan universities and awarded three prizes to the best presentations, with cash prizes of 3,000, 2,000 and 1,000 euros, respectively, in addition to the Joan Oró special mention for the transmission of values and entrepreneurship for theses presented in Catalan in the competition, endowed with 1,000 euros.
