Labour Insertion Studies

During the first months of 2023, AQU Catalunya has carried out the fifth study on the employment of PhDs from Catalan universities. Labour insertion studies coordinated by AQU Catalunya are the result of the interest of social councils to obtain data concerning the quality of the insertion of graduates in the labour market. In particular, studies on the labour insertion of doctoral graduates from the Catalan university system are conducted every three years since 2008 (2008, 2011, 2014, 2017, 2020 and 2023).

In this edition, 2,490 doctors were surveyed (53.4% response rate), corresponding to the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 academic year.
