On November 8, 2024, the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology will hold its 1st Research Conference in the Sala de Graus. This hybrid event will offer an attendance certificate.
The UAB Department of Clinical and Health Psychology is pleased to announce its 1st Research Conference, scheduled for November 8, 2024, in the Sala de Graus at the Faculty of Psychology, offered in a hybrid format. During this conference, various research groups from the department will share their latest scientific findings with the university community—a great opportunity to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field!
The day will begin at 9:00 am with a welcome and introductory remarks by the Department Head, Susana Subirà, followed by an inaugural lecture by Juan Vicente Luciano, addressing “Pain and Mental Health: Current State and Future Challenges.”
Throughout the day, there will be presentations on various lines of research, including person-environment interaction, cognition and gender, psychopathology, eating and weight issues, neuroimaging, and mental health promotion, among others. Each presentation will be followed by a Q&A and discussion session.
Additionally, participants will receive an attendance certificate. The conference will conclude with closing remarks and the award for the best presentation.
