Research

The teaching and research staff of the Department of Chemistry developes extensive and intense research work linked to a diverse number of fields of Chemistry.

Some of the lines of research followed by the Department have a long trajectory and are often characterised by their innovative and leading nature. The main areas to which research interests and efforts are devoted are studies in Sensors and Biosensors, Selective Oxidation Catalysis, Separation Techniques, Green Chemistry, Computational Chemistry, Functional Materials and Organic Reactivity, Biosensors and Bioanalysis, Electrochemistry, etc.
