PhD

The PhD is the third cycle of official university studies, which leads to the acquisition of competences and skills related to quality scientific research, culminating in the presentation and defence of a doctoral thesis.

The PhD involves the completion of an original research project and an individualised plan of specialised and cross-disciplinary training.

The UAB Department of Chemistry, through its own research groups and collaborating centres, offers three different doctoral programmes:
