Dr. Silvia Mena Fernández, researcher in the Department of Chemistry, awarded the "Antonio Aldaz" prize by the RSEQ (Electrochemistry Group).
The Jury of the VIII "Antonio Aldaz" Prize for the best Doctoral Thesis in the field of Electrochemistry defended during the year 2021 has decided to award this prize to Dr. Silvia Mena Fernández (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) for her thesis entitled "Detection, capture, activation and valorisation of CO2 in green solvents by means of electrochemically activated processes" and directed by Professor Gonzalo Guirado López.
The prize will be awarded during the XLIII Meeting of the Electrochemistry Group of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (Ciudad Real, 3-5 July 2023).
