This event aims to strengthen the links between the programme's research groups, with the ultimate goal of promoting interdisciplinary and more ambitious research projects. During the event, 26 young researchers from the PhD programme in Chemistry will present and discuss their research work. In addition, the Doctoral Workshop will include an interesting series of plenary lectures given by renowned national and international experts.
Plenary lectures:

- Tuesday 30 May at 16:45h: "Light-driven photocatalytic micromotors based on single-component semiconductors" by Prof. Katherine Villa Gómez, research group leader at the Institute for Chemical Research of Catalonia, ICIQ.
- Friday 2 June at 12:00h: "The Art of Building Small: from molecular switches to tone motors", by Prof. Ben L. Feringa, professor at the University of Groningen, winner of the 2016 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. This lecture is included in the Manuel Cardona Lecture Series 2023, organised by the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICN2). REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND THIS LECTURE.
