New edition of the course "Strategies in Biosafety and Biocontainment"
The registration period for the Postgraduate Course "Strategies in Biosafety and Biocontainment" (13th edition). This course, organized by the Faculties of Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine, has the collaboration of IBC-UAB, IRTA-CReSA and CRAG and is preferably aimed at technicians, lab managers, graduates and professionals in the biomedical, biotechnology, veterinary and agri-food sectors.
The registration period for the Postgraduate Course of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) "Strategies in Biosafety and Biocontainment" (eleventh edition) is now open and will be held from 27 January to 1 February 2025 during intensive hours.
This course, organised by the Faculty of Biosciences and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, has the collaboration of IBC-UAB (Institutional Biosafety Committee), IRTA-CReSA (Centre for Research in Animal Health) and CRAG (Centre for Research in Agrigenomics) and is preferably aimed at technicians, lab managers, graduates and professionals in the biomedical, biotechnological, veterinary and agrifood sectors who wish to acquire basic knowledge in biosafety and biocontainment, in their biological, technical and regulatory aspects.
This course is endorsed by the Asociación Española de Bioseguridad (AEBioS) and has a panel of teachers of recognized prestige, belonging to different universities, research centres and companies.
The course will be taught in Spanish and most of the teaching material in English. Registration will close when the maximum number of places, set at 15, is completed.
