Teaching

The teaching proposal of the Autonomous University of Barcelona is multidisciplinary, multilingual and open to address the needs of society, with the aid of the activity of research and of innovative and high-quality pedagogical models.

The Department of Art and Musicology coordinates and provides the teaching of the degree programme of History of Art and the degree programme of Musicology. 
In the Post-graduation studies area, the Department is responsible of the Official Master in Analysis and Management of Artistic Heritage and of the Official Master in Musicology, Musical Education and Interpretation of Ancient Music, and provides a specific doctorate programme: "Doctorate in History of Art and Musicology".

Besides, the professorship of the Department participates in the teaching of external programmes for the degree programmes as well as for the post-graduate programmes offered by the UAB. In this regard, the vinculation with the degree programmes and masters of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Communications, as well as with the master's degree in Teaching in Secondary Schools, Vocational Training and Lenguage Centres is remarkable.
