Servei d'Estadística Aplicada offers consultancy in all areas of statistics with the aim of providing concrete and feasible solutions to the needs of the researcher in any phase of the project, ensuring the appropriate use of the statistical methodologies, techniques and tools.
Integral Statistical Support is addressed to researchers who require complete assessnent to carry out the statistical analysis of their study.
The final objective of this type of consultation is to provide the researcher with a Statistical Report including the results of the analyzes and the methodological details of the process.
- Confirmatory Studies: To confirm the researcher's hypotheses, generally planned in advance through a working protocol.
- Exploratory Studies: With the aim of describing, identifying, classifying and exploring the information of the experiment.
- Expert validation: To provide the researcher with an objective and independent diagnosis of a specific analysis of an experiment.
- Study design review: As a preliminary phase before starting the experiment, in order to review the working protocol, to determine the required sample size and to establish the sampling plan.
When this service is requested, a detailed budget is prepared, including the different parts of the statistical study. It will take into account:
