International Abella Day: Beekeeping Day
On the occasion of the celebration of International Bee Day, a day of beekeeping was held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine on Saturday 18 May.
The activity was aimed at beekeepers who wanted to deepen their knowledge of the history of beekeeping or the reproductive aspects of beekeeping, bee reproduction and queen insemination.
To end the day, they visited the UABee Group's apiary installed on the UAB Campus, where they took the opportunity to collect samples for the IV Contest for the Best Catalan Honeys.
