Drones, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV, UAS, RPAS), are very useful in environments such as private, public and maritime security, and emergencies (i.e. civil protection, wildfire management, forestry). Their versatility in terms of size, specifications and design allow them to be especially helpful in difficult-to-access areas to collect data and provide different points of view with total personal safety.
This course provides knowledge to identify risk situations in the fields of emergencies and public and private security that can be approached and solved with drone technology.
This specialisation course provides students with knowledge about the concept of food security and its implications in a legal-social framework. Through a comprehensive approach, the elements and matters regulating legal and technical conditions of the food chain will be addressed, from production to consumption with a preventive perspective of legal responsibility.
The current situation has shown safety in tourism as essential, making it to continue to be an economic engine of quality and profitability for society. This course provides the student with the skills to identify the need for tourist security as a strategic line, as well as to design application policies with an integral security approach.
For some time now, the field of security has developed a specialisation focused on events and the synergies they imply. In order for the student to learn outlining key security elements of an event and developing a security plan containing all the phases of the event (before, during, afterwards), this course identifies and analyses potential risks that may affect the normal development of an event from a comprehensive security perspective.
