Convocatòria Ajuts Col·lectius 2017
The decision on the application for student involvement grants at the UAB has been announced. 38 of the 44 applications for student involvement activities were issued by student societies legally registered at elDirectori and 6 were issued by different UAB student councils.

12/05/2017

The student societies legally registered at elDirectori and the student councils may benefit from these grants. Compared to previous years, this year there has been an increase in the budget, reaching the figure of €12,500.

The Assessment Committee has allocated €300 grants to student societies basing on three criteria: revitalization of campus life, promotion of equal opportunities and networking. These aspects had to be mentioned in the students’ applications. However, there was a limit to the amount allocated to the student societies and to the number of applications allowed. Each student society could apply for grants to 3 activities, but the grant for every activity could not exceed 70% of its cost or the amount of €600. In total, the grants allocated to every student society could not exceed €1,500.

In the next few days, 60% of the aid will be paid to the recipients of the grants. The rest will be paid after the student societies justify the expenditure generated by the activities they do. The time limit for doing so ends on 15 November 2017.

The Assessment Committee was made up of the Vice-rector for Students and Employability, Sara Moreno, 2 members of two student societies, Pau Cano from the student society CRUAB and Eric Bermudez from the Logopedy Choir, the representative of elDirectori and member of the student society AEP Pilar Cortes, and 2 members of the Community Involvement Unit, Xavier Alejandre and Ana València.
