In November, a group of lecturers from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona participated in the first edition of the "Tutoritzo un TFG en ApS, com ho faig? Explorant la docència supervisada compromesa amb el territori" organised by the Service-Learning Office (ApS) of the UAB.

The event, aimed mainly at Academic and Research Staff (PDI) interested in tutoring final degree projects with the Service Learning methodology, was successfully conducted by the technical team of the ApS Office, with the development of two lecturers with extensive experience in this area: Eva Castells (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) and Paloma Valdivia (Faculty of Education).

This first edition of the training was notable for its versatility, taking place in two sessions with different formats: one face-to-face and one online session. This dual approach allowed participants to choose the modality that best suited their needs and availability.

The aim of this training was to provide practical tools and the necessary knowledge to assume the role of TFG tutors in the ApS methodology, as well as to learn how these projects are developed at the UAB. Through this initiative, it was possible to foster the creation of a collaborative training environment where, based on theoretical elements and practical dynamics, participants were able to exchange experiences and strategies for an effective implementation of ApS in their respective academic fields.

With an enthusiastic participation and growing interest, the first edition of the training exceeded all expectations, demonstrating the willingness of the UAB's PDI members to commit to transformative pedagogical methods committed to the territory.

The training was attended by 142 participants, of which 14 attended the face-to-face session and 128 attended the virtual session. Of those who registered (a total of 236), 54.24% had already been assigned a TFG in ApS methodology. It was also observed that 65.25% had not previously supervised a TFG in this methodology. Finally, the high participation of the faculties of Medicine, Education, Veterinary Medicine, Law and Arts & Humanities should be highlighted.
