The philosophy of global justice seeks equity and equality in global relations, considering the fair distribution of resources, opportunities and responsibilities worldwide. This perspective, promoted by academics such as Thomas Pogge and Nancy Fraser, increasingly influences international cooperation practices, which today are addressed through cooperation for global justice. The Main Foundation and Descartados ONG are two organizations that adhere to this approach. At a conference entitled "From cooperation to global justice. Innovation in transformative practices and discourses", Katrina C'rdenas highlighted the changes in this area and the importance of incorporating the perspective of global justice in social and development work. On the other hand, Marc Espín shared the practical case of Descartados ONG in El Salvador, showing how the organization promotes social change through communication. This activity, part of the subject of Communication, Development and Social Change, took place in classroom 5 of the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the UAB.

The master's degree will continue to explore relevant topics on March 18 at 6pm in classroom 5 of the faculty with a session on aesthetic violence and grassophobia in the media. Sandra Gonfaus, an expert in gender and communication, will analyse the representation of these issues and reflect on how they affect women and dissident genders in particular.
